NetUnlimited, Inc. was founded in 1996 as an Internet Service Provider and Structured Cabling Provider serving the Triad area of North Carolina.
In 1998 NetUnlimited added Network Solutions as a service offering and in 1999 added E-hosting Solutions. The growth of the four divisions and the success of the company attracted the attention of Winston-Salem investor Andrew Filipowski. At the time, NetUnlimited had $3.1 million in annual revenues with 22 full-time and 13 part-time employees.
After a substantial investment from Filipowski’s venture capital firm, NetUnlimited grew to $10 million in annual revenues by 2002 with 80 employees (35 in the Structured Cabling division alone). Filipowski’s Chicago-based divine Interventures assumed operating control of the company in February 2002.
In October 2002, NetUnlimited senior managers Robin Yates and Thomas Moore executed a management buy-out of the Structured Cabling division and formed a new equal partnership called NetUnlimited Cabling Solutions, LLC.
In January 2007, NetUnlimited Cabling Solutions bought the 50% ownership from Mr. Yates. The company is currently owned and operated by Mr. Moore.
Winston-Salem-based NetUnlimited Cabling Solutions has 14 employees and average annual revenues of $1.9 million. The company’s service area is within five hours of the Triad.
